About Nick
I started my journey as a dog behaviourist because of my own difficult dogs. Despite my wife and I both growing up with dogs, we found that our family pets were extremely challenging. This was the touch paper for a fascination with the psychology of dogs. I enjoyed the processes and challenges of training and developing our Maremma, we added to the pack with a Carpathian / German Shepherd rescue from Romania and continued to learn and grow my skills. I volunteered at rescues, did an apprenticeship, watched videos, listened to podcasts, and affiliated with a professional body; everything I could to keep growing my skillset.
Having had to learn the hard way through having my own difficult dogs has given me empathy with the owners. This is about people as much as it is about dogs. I teach people how to have a better relationship with their dogs.
About Anne-Marie
Anne-Marie has been around dogs her whole life. She started out as a dog-walker and joined us in 2023 as an apprentice. Now, as a fully-fledged trainer, she runs reactivity classes as well as meeting people for one-to-one consultations. She also has her own scent training workshop, which she has developed and is an area she plans to expand. She currently has three Border Terriers, which are her inspiration for a lot of the work she does.

I had a session with Nick today for my 3yo Lhasa, Shelby. Nick was fantastic and instantly spotted behaviour signals. He clearly talked through what they … More meant and why Shelby was doing them. I came away with a plan and routine that I had practiced with Nick and saw really positive progress within the 2 hour session. Would highly recommend!
